COLOUR PSYCHOLOGY
March 2019
I have always found colour psychology and how colours can affect people’s emotions extremely interesting. In this series, I wanted to disorient viewers by sparking an emotion with colour and at the same time, triggering an opposing emotion through the subject. For example, the colour red evokes energy, anger, and intensity, while this subject evokes calmness and serenity. The juxtaposition of these two emotional states is meant to disorient the viewer and perhaps amuse.
